The Vickers Vimy aircraft, flown in the England to Australia air race of 1919, completed the journey in a world record time of 27 days. This little known part of aviation history is to be recified when the original Vickers Vimy will be housed in a purpose built hangar with seven interactive displays for the public use.
Taking the designer's static designs, I produced a range of web-based interactive displays showing the journey of the Vimy and the stops it made across the globe.
