As anyone whose been to the WOMADelaide festival knows, nagivating 22 hectares over four days while been chemically asssisted can be problematic. Convinced that an augmented reality stage locator / friend finder would be a huge improvement, I used this as an exercise for UX research and app re-design ... and retro futurism.
Tl;dr The stage locator was a big hit - but the friend finder? Not so much. Turns out people don't like being tracked and found (who knew?)
